WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – November 11, 2013 – Wilbur-Ellis Company announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase the assets of Orange Belt Supply (OBS). “We’re pleased to move forward with the process of acquiring OBS,” said Michael Karasiewicz, director of business development with Wilbur-Ellis Company. “It is an outstanding business that would expand our coverage area in the heart of San Joaquin Valley.”

“Wilbur-Ellis’ leading position in California and breadth of agriculture and technology expertise will help our growers reach their potential,” said Ed Murray, general manager of OBS. “Our business is ready to take this important step and we are equally thrilled to begin the acquisition process.”
