DENVER, Colorado (Feb. 20, 2025) — Wilbur-Ellis, a leading provider of innovative solutions for agriculture, today announced the launch of BenVireo® TerraLux® 10-0-0 — a groundbreaking organic liquid nitrogen fertilizer. BenVireo TerraLux delivers a 100% plant available nitrogen solution, giving organic growers a new source of organic nitrogen fertilizer for improved fertility management. Sustainably derived and U.S.-produced, BenVireo TerraLux gives organic growers a source of nitrogen that’s pathogen- and weed-free and its liquid formulation offers flexible application options.

Sustainable Organic Nitrogen Fertilizer With Plant Available Nitrogen
BenVireo TerraLux is developed by capturing ammonia from digestate, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Using a patented process, this waste stream is transformed into clean water and concentrated ammonia, which is then biologically stabilized into ammonium nitrate to create BenVireo TerraLux.
Prior to BenVireo TerraLux, this technology was used to turn waste into clean water in areas of the world without sanitation. Now, Wilbur-Ellis is bringing the benefit of this technology to agriculture, where liquid animal waste streams are turned into clean water and pathogen-free organic liquid nitrogen fertilizers. This process results in a sustainable, scalable and efficient method for producing organic liquid nitrogen fertilizer.
