TARIAN™
TARIAN™
TARIAN™ is a preventative fungicide for control of certain diseases and plant health in barley, corn, filberts, oats, peanuts, pecans, rice, soybean, triticale and wheat. TARIAN contains two different chemistry classes to minimize fungicide resistance. Trifloxystrobin, which exhibits no known cross-resistance to other chemical classes and Propiconazole.
Features
Broad performance
- Combine strengths
- Increase consistency across weather conditions
Attack the fungi in multiple ways
- Strobilurins inhibit respiration (energy production)
- DMIs inhibit cell membrane formation
- Provide double-punch preventative activity for improved control
Critical for resistance management
- More than one mode of action must have activity on each pathogen
Performance
- TARIAN works by interfering with respiration in plant pathogenic fungi, inhibition of spore germination and by blocking fungal growth.
- TARIAN has unique plant surface retention and redistribution properties that result in better coverage and better disease control.
- Boosts a plant’s natural defense system for healthier, stronger plants
Critical for resistance management
- Two different modes of action protect plants from a broad spectrum of yield-robbing diseases and reduce the likelihood of developing resistance
